German Bavarian vase hand painted and signed by the artist Allene Banard who worked in the factory and was assigned to paint artwork on special porcelain objects. It was considered to be only acceptable by the quality well learned artists to be allowed to apply their signature to their piece and thus rendering a porcelain piece to a higher level in value. These items held a much greater value for their added artistic artwork applied by a well known professional. The case at front displays cascading westeria flowering from the vine. A beautifully perched white peacock sits gracefully within the branch, it's detail and delightfully feathers display a grand design making the subject matter special. At the right lower corner is the artists signature in blue. The right facing end shows a butterfly floating in air just below flowering. At the back more flowering westeria and a bluebird in flight proves that the artist was not completely satisfied with the work and added more to show that this piece could be viewed from any direction and inspire anyone with an eye for quality. The top and lower rims are further embellished with gold. There are no visable cracks or surface damage indicating this vase was well cared for. It carries a rating value of excellent in quality, and condition.
